A non-adhesive marker is fixed mechanically (cable tie, label holder, rail) instead of sticking. It is ideal when the substrate is dirty, greasy or damp, where an adhesive label would struggle to hold.

Engraved markers are fixed with cable ties. Strips and switch labels fit into label holders, terminals and rails, depending on your equipment, including Schneider label holders.
